School Holiday Programs


Our School Holiday Programs offer fun and dynamic opportunities for children to explore their creativity in response to works of art on display at the Art Gallery, with practicing artists and specialist children’s guides for a chance to experience, discuss and make works of art.    

Digital Storytelling
Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 April, 10am 1-pm and 2-5pm
Everyone has a camera these days and everyone’s got a story to tell. Learn how to use photography to tell stories in this workshop with Nat Rogers, editorial and commercial photographer. With more than ten years experience working as a photographer for news and magazines, Nat has amassed a bag of tricks that she loves to share.
9 - 15 years

Adelaide Biennial curator Erica Green loves film and asked participating artists to identify films that have influenced them artistically, or in other ways. The result is a Cinémathèque season curated in response to the city wide exhibition Divided Worlds.

Sunday 22 April, Children's Cinémathèque: Bewitched

Three very different children's films where girls are key to making a bewitched world right again.
10.30am - Beauty and the Beast
12.30pm - Howl's Moving Castle
3.30pm - The Secret Garden
