Leave winter behind and journey through a year of seasons with the Gallery's month of late-night events across every Friday in July. Experience Colours of Impressionism: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay after hours, complemented by programs inspired by the changing colours of each season.

A NIGHT OF AUTUMN COLOURS
Participate in a Passion and Pastels workshop with artist Roe Gartelmann, hear from special guest Terence Maloon, Director, ANU Drill Hall Gallery & University Art Collection who will present a lecture on ‘Pissarro and the theory of Impressionism’. Enjoy a compelling live performance by Naomi Keyte and join a tour in the Colours of Impressionism exhibition with one of our dedicated Gallery Guides (exhibition ticket required).

Passion & Pastels Workshop
Learn the immediacy of application and vibrancy of colour in this pastels workshop with artist Roe Gartelmann.  Be inspired by the works of art in the Colours of Impressionism exhibition then be guided by Gartelmann as she shares her knowledge and techniques.  All materials supplied and no experience necessary.

Friday 20 July, 5-9pm
A NIGHT OF WINTER COLOURS 
Experience the technique of oil painting in a workshop with Archibald finalist Tsering Hannaford, soak up the sounds of Nancy Bates as she performs with pure emotion, then join us for a floor talk with Dr Lisa Slade, Co-acting Director who will give an over view of the Impressionist movement in the finial days of this exhibition (exhibition ticket required).

Oil Painting the Impressionists Way Workshop
When bad weather forces the Impressionist to retreat inside, artists practiced their techniques of creating light and colour from still life. Join Archibald finalist Tsering Hannaford in this still life oil painting workshop as she guides you through some techniques towards creating your own Impressionist style still life. All materials supplied and no experience necessary.

A NIGHT OF SPRING COLOURS
Enjoy Mélange à Trois’ sultry blend of French classics and original music, take part in a spring- inspired floristry workshop and create your own French Posy. Join ‘Henri Matisse’ for a theatrical performance tour with a twist through the Colours of Impressionism exhibition or take a tour with one of our dedicated Gallery Guides. (exhibition ticket required).

Be inspired by the floral works of art in Colours of Impressionism, snip and style fresh flowers and foliage to create your own French Posy. Learn some tips and tricks from Adelaide’s top florists at Tynte Flowers. All materials supplied and no experience necessary. Age Suitability 17 years +
