The Foundation is the Gallery’s major benefaction group. The Foundation is dedicated to the development of the Gallery’s collection as well as its diverse exhibitions, programs, publications and infrastructure.

Donations to the Foundation make a significant contribution to the ongoing development of South Australia’s art collection and to the Gallery in general.

Support for the Gallery can be made through financial donations, membership subscriptions and bequests. Donations can also be made in memory or in honour of someone special.

The Gallery is currently fundraising for the Gallery 6 Appeal which will support the refurbishment and rehang of gallery 6 as part of the Art Gallery's focus on prioritising the presentation of Australian art.
