VAESA WINTER CONFERENCE: PUTTING THE 'A' INTO STEM 
Join keynote speaker is Professor Martin Westwell, Director of the Flinders Centre for Science Education in the 21st Century, South Australia, an institution that supports quality teaching and innovation in science and mathematics education. The conference will also include tours of the Gallery collections, with educators and curators focussing on Australian cross curriculum priorities and general capabilities. Day 2 will comprise of hands on workshops held at the University of South Australia

EDUCATORS CONNECT - First Fridays
Educators and pre-service educators can immerse themselves in art and culture while networking with colleagues at Educators CONNECT, held during First Fridays at the Gallery. The events begin at 4.30pm with refreshments, and from 5pm experienced educators or arts professionals discuss potential curriculum connections to the Gallery’s current and coming exhibitions. There is also an opportunity for fun and creative ‘making’ sessions. Certificates of attendance provided.


EDUCATORS CONNECT in September - RETHINKING AUSTRALIAN ART

5 to 7pm - Curatorial tour of selected works in Re-thinking Australian Art and workshop activity responding to works viewed
