Educators CONNECT in April
Presentation – 5-6pm
Explore the Melrose Wing and discover cross-curriculum learning opportunities with Kylie Neagle, Education Officer.
The Melrose Wing reframes the story of European art through the thematic display of works across media and genres. While many of the works of art are European, others have been drawn from the Australian and Asian art collections. Together, they illustrate the harmonies and tensions that have characterised contact between cultures from classical antiquity to the present day and ask the question, what do we mean by European? And where does Europe begin and end?
Hands-on art activity – 6-7pm
Join artist facilitators for an introduction to drawing in the Melrose Wing. Featuring selected works from the Melrose Wing, educators explore line, tone and proportion.

When Friday 7 April, 4.30pm for a 5pm start – 7pm
Suitability Early Years, F–12, TRT, pre-service educators.
Cost $20 of included in the Educators at the Gallery package. .
