Martin Sharp, Mo, 1978

Martin Sharp’s prints and posters set the agenda for Australian pop art. Part of the ‘scandalous’ OZ magazine of the 1960s, ‘grass politics’ of the 1970s and the reclamation of Aussie cartoon icons such as Boofhead and Ginger Meggs, Sharp’s work is bright, lively and off-beat.
